STROCO was founded on June 5, 1963.

Ray Strother, with the support of his wife, Mary, began his career in the aerospace industry as a fastener representative for leading companies like Huck and Jiffy Air Tool. This role gave him the opportunity to collaborate with engineers at McDonnell Douglas, where he gained invaluable experience in aerospace product development. Ray’s entrepreneurial spirit and vision laid the foundation for STROCO’s long-term success.

For the next 30 years, STROCO remained a family-led business.

The company was proudly guided by the third generation of the Strother family, upholding Ray’s core values. Under their leadership, STROCO experienced remarkable growth while fostering a family-friendly culture that remained central to its operations.

In July 2022, STROCO was acquired by The Novaria Group.
