Precision Sheet Metal Machining

Our unique combination of machining and sheet metal experience has led us to be a pioneer in precision sheet metal machining. Precision sheet metal machining is an alternative to chemical milling where we conventionally machine very thin materials. Precision sheet metal machining can be used in applications such as tapered shims, pockets in sheet metal, and machining 6AL-4V titanium below .012” thick without the increase in hydrogen content caused by chem mill process. Some examples of our work include machining 6L-4V titanium to .006” +/-.001” thick and machining tapered shims to a thickness of .005”. .
